OUR JOURNEY

In 1991, I made the decision to eliminate meat from my diet. Initially it was challenging to find plant proteins to supplement my new eating habits, but my love for cooking inspired me to get creative in the kitchen and create my own.

Over the years I developed a passion to showcase how delicious and satisfying meatless alternatives can be and help others on their journey to a healthier lifestyle.

In 2019, I brought my vision of creating a protein-packed meatless jerky to life at Manitoba’s Farmers’ Markets using healthier ingredients that have a minimal impact on the planet and animals. It quickly gained popularity among vegans and meat-eaters alike.

Today, Plant Power Foods is not just a protein-packed snack, but a movement towards a more sustainable and compassionate world. With the help of our loyal customer base, we successfully transitioned our product from the farmers' markets to the shelves of major retailers in Manitoba and we are about to expand to retailers across Canada.
